Napa Golf Course-Kennedy Park Receives 2011 Best of Napa Award

U.S. Commerce Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement

NEW YORK, NY, December 12, 2011 -- Napa Golf Course-Kennedy Park has been selected for the 2011 Best of Napa Award in the Public Golf Courses category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2011 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

Napa Golf Course Golf Instruction 2011

Couples Golf Saturday’s

This clinic is designed for players of all calibers that would like to learn the game of golf with their husband, or wife, or significant other in a casual setting. Students should have some experience but it is not required.

Fee: $150.00 per couple
Five sessions to include the fundamentals of golf and on course instruction. All classes are 1 hour in duration; classes are limited to the first 4 couples

Junior “Rookies” Camp

The “Rookies” classes are for juniors from the ages of 6-11 that have no or a limited knowledge of the game of golf. The focus is to make the game fun, while giving students the basic fundamentals of the modern golf swing. It is recommended that students bring their own clubs, but a limited amount of clubs will be available for use.

Fee: $99.00
Four 1 Hour classes to include the basic fundamentals of Golf.

Juniors “Next Level”

The “Next Level” classes will be targeting the intermediate junior that would like to improve to a more competitive level. Course management and strategy will be emphasized while building on a strong fundamental base. Students will have the opportunity to play golf on the course depending on their grasp of the game.

Fee: $109.00
Four 1 hour classes to include advanced instruction and on course training on etiquette and course management.

Ladies Night Out

This clinic has been the most popular clinic at Napa Golf Course over the past years. Attendees will enjoy a more relaxing atmosphere of learning and wind down at Jack’s Bar and Grille with some wine and cheese after an hour of instruction from the professional staff. This class is for the beginner or the novice that is looking to improve their game.

Ladies Sunday Clinic

We have developed a new clinic to assist Ladies Night Out participants to further their knowledge and skills and concentrate on the actual playing of the game. Participants must have completed Ladies Night Out or have a knowledge of the game that is above the beginner level and own a set of golf clubs.
